Tests of mechanical seals under axial vibration conditions. This paper summarizes the experimental results obtained in tests of mechanical seal effectiveness under axial forced vibration. The basic reliability characteristics useful in seal design are relation between leakage and seal features. The results were presented on charts.

Assignment of control cam‘s shape in cam-driven commutation unit. The paper shows requirements, which control cam’s shape must fulfill. Values of characteristic parameters were determined for a number of shapes founded on different mathematical functions. An optimal shape was chosen on basis of proposed criteria.

Determining of characteristics of hydraulic magnetic fluid. In the paper the way of determining of magnetic fluid characteristics is presented. The fluid was used as a working fluid in a hydrodynamic clutch. Advantages of this fluid are pointed.

Influence of oil and emulsion type HFA-E on flow characteristics in internal channels in hydraulics satellite motors. In article theoretical analysis of phenomena during flow of oil and oil-in-water emulsion type HFA-E in internal channels in hydraulics satellite motors have been presented. Results of laboratory research of influence oil and emulsion on flow characteristics in throttle elements were described.
