Biomechatronic systems. The paper deals with the application of fluid power actuators in biomechatronic systems. The examples of technical solutions, applications and control of fluid power actuators (pneumatic and hydraulic) in biomechatronics devices are presented. The constructional solution for the prosthesis of lower limb, the artificial hand and the exoskeleton is detail analyzed.

Mechatronics in selected hydraulic drives. Structures of special cylinders designed to control the automatic gas generator with combustion engine has been presented. The use of programmable logic controller PLC to control the operation of the unit has been suggested.

AGRITECHNICA 2009. Part I. The paper presents agricultural tractors and agricultural machinery exhibited on the AGRITECHNICA 2009 fair in Hanover. Latest trends in development of the hydraulic and electronic systems in these machines are discussed.

Analysis of hydraulic flow control system with brushless DC motor. The analysis of problems regarding mathematical modelling and flow control of hydraulic power station, where constant displacement pump is powered by inverter-fed brushless DC motor, was carried out. The numerical Box’s method of static optimisation was applied in parametric identification of a mathematical model of the electrical drive.
