Standardized measuring tests of contaminants inside the pipework of compressed air systems. The paper deals with the test method of contaminants inside the pipework of compressed air systems according to ISO standards. ISO standards specify the test methods for the three major contaminants in compressed air – solid particles, water and oil. One of the most widely used standardized measuring tests of compressed air contaminants is ISO 8573. The measuring tests of the compressed air quality serve to the end users of pneumatic equipment.
Hydraulic servo-drive – “tuning” in practice. In this paper are presented the results of the PID controller tuning in electrohydraulic servo drive using two methods. The first method bases on the analytical procedure and the second is the Ziegler-Nichols method based on the step response of the astatic object. For second method was assumed no additional equipment for data acquisition, was used only diagnosis procedure in software intended for controller. The results obtained for second method do not disqualify it as a method for tuning of servo drive in industrial environment. Better results, however, were obtained by analytical method.
Bench testing of hydraulic motor for rotary drilling rig. The efficiency results of the two speed hydraulic motor have been presented. It was emphasized that the motor is the main component of the rotary drill drive for use in engineering-geological drilling rig type WIG-200. Design of a test bench located in the ITG Komag has been described, as well as the research methodology.
Hydrodynamic forces on the spool of electromagnetically controlled directional valve. The hydrodynamic forces acting on spool during operation. It has been pointed to the significant influence of these forces on the valve characteristics. The test bench for the different sliders types, in various configurations of connections of the directly electromagnetically controlled valve helped to determine the actual value of the forces as a function of the slider displacement. The operating characteristics for all version of tested valves have been determined.
Influence of the proportional controller on the working movement of an electrohydraulic system. In the article were presented a review of automatic controlled electro-hydraulic power systems. The simulations were performed based on the numerical model and their results were presented. It was emphasized that the use of the proportional valve with the regulator significant expands the possibility of changing the system operation without any interference in the hydraulic system.
