Mechatronics in fluid power drives. Flexible pneumatic actuators. The paper deals with various flexible fluid actuators. The descriptions of the research stand together with the experimental results obtained for characteristics of Fluidic Muscle and dynamic characteristics of bi-muscular driving systems (BMDS) are discussed. The kinematical systems with pneumatic muscle actuators applied in wide range of devices are presented.
Water hydraulic hydrostatic transmission for transportation cart. The paper presents modification of drive mechanism in transportation cart, which main goal was change old fashion electric drive into ecology friendly water hydraulic hydrostatic drive, based on Danfoss Nessie program components. New drive system, as well as control system was developed and used in road test of vehicle. The main working parameters have been calculated.
Simplified method of rheological characteristic estimation for magnetic fluid. In the paper simplified method of magnetic fluid rheological characteristics determination for flow mode is presented. Two magnetic fluids consisting of iron parts and silicon oil were tested. The fluids tests were performed on specially designed test rig. The simplified method results were compared with results obtained in typical way.
Comparison of hydraulically and electrically powered actuators with reference to aerospace applications. The paper presents electrical and hydraulic actuators. The main features of both types have been discussed. The efficiency, control loops and reliability were compared. Application of actuators was presented.
Design of progressive distributors in centralized lubrication systems by genetic algorithms. The paper presents centralized lubrication systems and the main features. The simplified model of inner flow has been created. The exemplary data were used to determination of system structure with genetic algorithms. The results of the algorithm were shown.
