Design and kinematic of 3-DoF hydraulic translational parallel manipulator. The paper deals with a spatial 3-DoF (Degrees-of-Freedom) hydraulic translational parallel manipulator, which consists of a fixed base and a moving platform, connected by joints with three hydraulic linear drives. The closed-loop kinematic chains of the hydraulic parallel manipulator create a structure, in which revolute joints and prismatic joints step out. The inverse kinematics to solve for the position of the moving platform of the hydraulic parallel manipulator has been proposed.
Method of the determination of calculation factor b for materials used in flange joints. Author proposes experimental method of determination factor b according to the Polish Office of Technical Inspection for materials used in flange joints. Paper describes the experimental verification of the proposed method as well as the test rig and investigation method. Investigations results are presented for SPETOBAR® BAS340 material.
Wear tests of rotary slide bearings. In the article has been shown research of slide bearings in the water environment containing corundum. The samples used in the research were made of UHMW – PE polymer, composite with mould made of polyester resin and polyester fabrics with small addition of graphite and phosphor tin-bronze (CuSn10P). Counter samples were made of H17N14M2 acid-resistant stainless steel. Using the method of weight average usage of samples has been determined.
Satellite pump unit. In the article has been described the newest design of satellite pump unit with satellite pump located inside the electric motor. Satellite working mechanism with reverse kinematics has been used in the pump. It has been also described an original solution for a pump timing, previously not used in known unit of the positive displacement satellite machines.
Practical methods of noisiness reduction in hydrostatic systems during start-up process. In the paper some experimental tests results focused on reduction of dynamic surplus of hydrostatic system has been presented. A hydrostatic transmission with a motor loaded by reduced mass and braking torque by a friction brake was considered. On the basis of experimental test it was shown that reduction of maximal pressure values leads to system noise reduction during transient state.
